What do we do?

We are a locally owned and operated hire company operating from our site in Rolleston. For us, its about your time. With this in mind, we have a wide range of plant and equipment available for hire that we keep in excellent condition so that it is consistently reliable for when you come to use it. We are always looking for new and innovative products and / or methods with the environment, ease of use and safety for our clients in mind. Our range of equipment will suit most country living and working needs.

What is our target market?

Any business and individual that needs to hire some equipment to get a job done big or small, we have it all. Albeit to float off that concrete after an early morning pour, or to cook food on a spit for that significant birthday function, or shift house yet again, or dig out the foundations for a house, or split next year’s firewood, or shape that pile of dirt into a mound, or take those sheep to the sale yards, or take the car that has just broken down to the mechanics, or pump out the water of a hole after all that rain, or break up that concrete path, or drive those fence posts in, or, or or. We have the equipment so come and use it!

What do I love about Selwyn?

After living in big cities for a most of my life, I enjoy being in a smaller yet growing district where people are happy also very supportive. With the most awesome backdrop of the mountains, it is a wonderful place to live and work and to operate a business. There are so many opportunities in Selwyn that suit our need to live, work and play, how can you not love this place!

Why am I a member of the Selwyn Business Group?

This is great group of local business owners who are keen to help and support eachother. It is refreshing to be able to talk to other business owners sharing experiences and knowledge and to realise that others can have the same issues too! It is also a great opportunity to learn of technological advances and new ideas that can so easily miss one by when one is so focused on one’s own business.
